I got into The Beatles in 1999 and didn't know much about their music and that December my Dad took me to see The BB's during their 20th Anniversary Tour and was blown away and have been a fan ever since.

As a Beatle fan I've always thought: "Don't touch the Beatles". I still agree to that. But when I first saw The Bootleg Beatles live, I thought they were absolutely brilliant. The closest thing ever to come close to The Beatles.

Their first concert was as a surprise for my birthday last year. I didn't know anything about the concert and I didn't know yet who The Bootleg Beatles were. After that excellent concert, I searched some general info on Google & their website, and I saw they were coming again to Belgium in October. So we went again and my dad says, that when he closes his eyes, it's almost like the real Beatles are on the stage.

My son got me into the Beatles, but Id always liked John Lennon. Before we saw Bootlegs, we went to Liverpool and it was MY idea to visit Mendips, Johns childhood home, I knew I HAD to visit, we got on the last tour of the first year it opened, also 20 Forthlin Road all part of the National Trust tour, Pauls childhood home.....So I knew then I was a fan...seing BBs has strenghthened that...weve been back to Liverpool a few times now, saw BBS there last August as Id heard Neil was thinking of leaving and we just had to see them in Liverpool......

I decided not to see them last year but i regretted it. I saw they were in Bournemouth again this year and made sure i went. They were fantastic. Glad i managed to see the legend that is Neil Harrison before he left. I'm sure the new John will be good but he will have some hard shoes to fill.
