Of all the years I have seen him (17) 18 this year if he stayed I have had great memories of him and enjoyed his sence of humour expesally during the end bit of All You Need Is Love he ususally sings 'You take the high road & I'll take the low road & I'll be in Scotland before you'. I think this year the girls from Kirkcaldy will miss him as they are normally in front row and he shakes their hands after. My personal fav memory of him was when he dedicated 'Hey Bulldog' to me in 2005 and I didn't even write in that I was coming.

That's a very nice memory I think mine is from the gig at the Fairfield Halls in Croydon this year. The funny thing is that he was really drunk That was the last time that I saw him and I said: I'm gonna miss you! And he said: I'm gonna miss you too! (Lol, he didn't even really know who I was ) Then he hugged me and didn't let me go.. (I didn't mind that ) I only saw him 3 times on stage (2 times from close) Such a shame.. he was the best and he still is.

I wonder if he will continue to produce the show.

From the first time I saw him at Cressing Temple in 2004, I realised he was special.Brentwood next was great.."I get me specs next year", to Southend when he started to do Imagine, as it was BBs 25th and Johns 25th anniversaries.....I cried as it was so emotional....I met Neil at York in march, he was so kind and took the time to chat, sign everything I asked and was happy to let my friend take photos, he even checked them and made some funny comments untill we got one he was pleased with..!!...Thanks Neil for everything....My last theatre show was Dartford, last gig Audley End..little did I realise that really was his last.......

I have spoken to Neil just once; he was really kind. I remember that he kept on asking whether I was okay. I look pale (I am uv proof and never get a tan), so he must have thought that I was sick, which I wasn't. He signed the concert ticket with a John Lennon drawing, which was cute.
